I am going to talk about products what I tested and tried and "make yourself" solutions, such as how to make deodorants, body lotions, moisturizers, lip balm, etc. at home by yourself. Make your own cream is really fun:)
Ingredients:
- 1 tbls baking soda
- 1,5 tbls shea butter
- 1 tbls corn starch
- 1 tbls cocoa butter
For smell ( but you can skip this if you want):
5-10 drops 100% orange-ylang ylang oil (but it can be any kind of essential oil)
- Bring water to boil in a pot, put a bowl above it and melt the shea butter and the cocoa butter
- Put baking soda and corn starch in it (still on the steam)
- Take off of the heat and then add the essential oil
You can also make it without shea butter:
- 3 tbls cocoa butter
- 1 tbls corn starch
- 0,5 tbls baking soda
- 5-8 drops essential oil
The method is the same.
Note: Sweating is a normal thing, the only problem is when it's stinky. It happens if you have a problem with your excretion.

Don't forget: always use pure, organic ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 5 g *Tegomuls (glyceryl stearate)
- 11 g of cold-pressed vegetable oil
- 4 g shea butter
- 100 g of distilled water
- For an active ingredients: anything you want, it depends on your skin type
*Tegomuls is a natural beef tallow (beef fat), non-toxic food emulsifier. It melts at 50-55 degrees.
The confectionery industry uses it mainly.(Biscuits, ice-cream, etc.)
Other name is Glyceryl Stearate.
Heat together the first 3 ingredients (fatty phase)and then slowly, stirring constantly, add the heated distilled water (approx. 80 degrees). When it's cooled down, then add the active ingredients in it.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. Shea butter
- 1 tbsp. Cocoa butter
- 3 tbsp. Evening primrose oil
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp. Jojoba or Almond oil
- 2 drops Tea-tree essential oil
- 3 drops Lavender essential oil
Method:
Heat together the ingredients on steam, then take off of the steam and add the essential oils. Put aside and when it cooled down and becomes white, then mix it with a handmixer. Put it in a jar. (Old, empty cream jar is perfect.)
Ingredients:
- 30ml Cocoa butter
- 30 ml Almond oil
- 10 drops of jasmine oil
- 25 drops of tangerine oil
Method:
Melt the Cocoa butter above steam and add the Almond oil. When it cooled down a little bit, add the essential oils too.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml of carrier oil (base oil) - Wheat germ oil (10%) and Sweet almond oil (90%) mixture
- 8 drops of lavender oil
- 8 drops chamomile oil
- 8 drops of orange blossom oil
- 4 drops of rose oil
Put the essential oils in the carrier oil.
Use it twice a day on your belly, breasts and hips.
Inbgredients:
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- half fresh lemon juice
- rosemary or tea tree essential oil 5-10 drops depends on the hair lentgth
Method:
Beat the egg whites with a handmixer until it's hard.
Put the lemon juice and the essential oil in the egg yolk, mix it well and put it on your dry hair. Massage into your scalp too. Leave it on for 10-15 mins then rinse it very well.
Now out the egg whites on your hair, masage it and leave it again for 10-15mins
Rinse it with water and that's it. You are done:)

1 cup distilled water, 1 tbsp thyme leaves, 10 drops tea tree essential oil.
In a saucepan bring water to boil. Remove from heat and add the herbs, cover and steep for 30mins. Stir and pour into an empty jar and add the essential oil. Shake it. You can keep it for a week in the fridge. Use cotton pad with 1 tsp of astringent, or more for your back.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp shea butter
- 1 tbsp almond oil
- 1 orange
- 6-10 drops orange essential oil
- 1 tsp Aloe Vera gel
- 2 Vitamin E capsule (you have to pierce it and press out the oil)
Method:
Twist the orange and cut the orange peel for small pieces. Bring water to boil and put the orange peel in it. Cover it and put aside for 30mins, then filter it.
Above steam heat the coconut oil shea butter, almond oil and Vitamin E. When they are melted, take off the stove and put the aloe vera gel and the essential oil.
Put some orange peel in it and pour it to an empty jar. Now you are ready to use it.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp linseed
- 100 ml distillated water
- 3 drops of lavender essential oil (soothing)
- 2 drops tea tree essential oil (antibacterial)
- 5 drops sweet orange essential oil (balance the oil of the skin, lightens spots, but be careful it can be photosensitive)
- 1 capsule Vitamin E (you have to pierce it)
Method:
Put the linseed in a saucepan with the distillated water and cook it on low heat until it looks like gelatin.
Filter it (you can use gauze)and add the essential oils and the Vitamin E.
YOu don't have to wash it off.
To use strawberry leaves for acne treatment in the form of a cleanser, gather enough strawberry leaves that will produce at least a quarter cup of ground up leaves. Add a quarter cup of water to the leaves and mix well. This should form a paste like mix.
Wash your face with warm water; do not dry your face. While the face is still wet, take the strawberry leaf paste and rub it into your skin in circular motions. Just like the strawberry mixture, you should keep away from sensitive areas. Rinse your face and blot dry with a towel.
