DIY Beauty Recipes

Let me share with you guys some ideas about organic solutions.

I am going to talk about products what I tested and tried and "make yourself" solutions, such as how to make deodorants, body lotions, moisturizers, lip balm, etc. at home by yourself. Make your own cream is really fun:)

  • 1 tbls baking soda
  • 1,5 tbls shea butter
  • 1 tbls corn starch
  • 1 tbls cocoa butter

For smell ( but you can skip this if you want):

5-10 drops 100% orange-ylang ylang oil (but it can be any kind of essential oil)

  1. Bring water to boil in a pot, put a bowl above it and melt the shea butter and the cocoa butter
  2. Put baking soda and corn starch in it (still on the steam)
  3. Take off of the heat and then add the essential oil

You can also make it without shea butter:

  • 3 tbls cocoa butter
  • 1 tbls corn starch
  • 0,5 tbls baking soda
  • 5-8 drops essential oil

The method is the same.

Note: Sweating is a normal thing, the only problem is when it's stinky. It happens if you have a problem with your excretion.

It could cause:

Strawberry leaves for acne treatment:

To use strawberry leaves for acne treatment in the form of a cleanser, gather enough strawberry leaves that will produce at least a quarter cup of ground up leaves. Add a quarter cup of water to the leaves and mix well. This should form a paste like mix.

Wash your face with warm water; do not dry your face. While the face is still wet, take the strawberry leaf paste and rub it into your skin in circular motions. Just like the strawberry mixture, you should keep away from sensitive areas. Rinse your face and blot dry with a towel.
